Activities

Snorkeling

Anguilla has a number of calm bays and beaches perfect for snorkeling. Blue Tangs and parrotfish dart among the sea fans, and sea turtles glide between rock formations. Crocus Bay, Shoal Bay East, Junk’s Hole, Sandy Island, Prickly Pear, and Little Bay are some of the most popular spots for this activity. Anguilla is an excellent spot for novice skin divers and snorkeling equipment is usually available with operators at prime locations. Villa Kishti has access to snorkeling beach very near.

SCUBA DIVING

The most interesting pelagic experiences in Anguilla are for the scuba diver. The island is home to seven marine parks including Dog Island, Prickly Pear, Seal Island Reef System, Little Bay, Sandy Island, Shoal Bay Harbour Reef System, and Stoney Bay Marine Park. Offerings include wall dives, ledge dives, nine wreck dives, both new and historical.

TENNIS

The Anguilla Tennis Academy has six lighted, gated, har-tru tennis courts, a pro shop, locker rooms, and substantial parking. The ATA program itself has attracted international attention and sponsorship from world-class coaches, players, and sponsors and is considered “The Best in the Caribbean Region.” The ATA Complex is open to visitors for court time, lessons, camp, clinics and pro-shop services including racket rentals. Hours are Monday through Saturday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. Reasonable rates and partners for play are available. Summer Camp runs from July 11th through June 29th. International guests are welcome. Space is limited to 150 participants between the ages of five and seventeen.

GOLF

Cuisinart Golf Resort, a championship course, designed by golf legend Greg Norman, is located just a few minutes’ drives from Villa Kishti. It offers dramatic elevation changes, water features on 13 holes and one of the finest Caribbean golf experiences. In planning the course, significant environmental efforts were undertaken to preserve and to enhance the island’s natural habitats. It is for you to discover a Caribbean golf experience where sand, wind, and water blend seamlessly with Anguilla’s natural environment to present a golfer’s paradise.

HORSEBACK RIDING

Anguillian Stables offer daytime, sunset and moonlight horse rides on the beaches. Pony rides for the kids and private rides for small groups can also be organized. Well cared for horses and professional staff with English, Western, Australian, and Spanish tack are available. Non-riders and experienced riders are both equally welcome. Horses are also available for photoshoots and weddings.

DAY CRUISING AND SAILING

Many of Anguilla’s offshore cays or secluded beaches can be a great way to experience some of the island’s most pristine places. Picnics onboard or ashore, sunset cocktail cruises, secluded snorkeling trips and excursions to our outer Cays are just some of the fun-filled activities available. For some sporting fun, waterskiing, tubing and banana boat rides can be arranged. Kiteboarding, windsurfing, sailfish, and catamarans are just some of our water sport activities that offer hands-on fun. And for some scenic adventure, Shoal Bay offers parasailing tours and Junior’s Glass Bottom Boat Tour is a fish-eye view of the Shoal Bay reef (perfect for children and those a bit timid of the water).

FISHING

Anguilla’s warm and calm waters are teeming with Wahoo, marlin, swordfish and yellow and blackfin tuna. Regular fishing charters, operated by experienced Anguillians can guide you to some of the Caribbean’s finest fishing spots.
